Brewing, the Chocolate Almond Milk Stout was Inspired by Kit Kat
The end product is a beer that exudes “the fun and floral tastes of cocoa and almonds” in a lightly carbonated stout.
According to Japan Today, it’s brewed with the same cocoa powder you you ‘d find in the Kit Kat, and roasted wheat is also a component.
Cacao is from the Higher Place
Maya and the Aztecs claimed that cocoa had been found by the gods in the mountains and had to be offered to the people after their creation.
While retaining the strong likelihood that it was not a native Mesoamerican flower, the cocoa tree was one of the most valued ancient Maya and Aztec.
